This 10DLC Privacy Policy (“Policy”), (collectively “Shafer Heating & Colling, LLC”, “us”, “we”, “our”) explains our privacy practices concerning the use of 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) numbers to send and receive SMS messages and provides information on how and why we use these numbers to communicate with you.

USE OF 10DLC NUMBERS

When you consent to receive SMS messages from us via 10DLC, we may collect certain information including, but not limited to, your name, phone number, email address (if applicable), message content, services requested to be provided, and any other information you provide during our communications.

OPT-IN PROCEDURES

Currently, the only method for opting in to receive SMS messages is by our team asking for your consent directly. At this time, we do not use automated systems for this purpose. Your consent will be memorialized at the time of agreement, ensuring that all SMS messages you receive from us are based on your explicit permission and your understanding that all message and data rates may apply.

PURPOSE OF DATA USE

The information collected through 10DLC messaging will be used for the following purposes:

• Sending you updates, notifications, reminders and messages personally generated by our team with the message frequency varying.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION

You have the right to opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time. To opt out or unsubscribe, reply “STOP” to any message you receive, or contact our customer support team at 937-466-2755. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from our 10DLC numbers. Should you need help, reply “HELP” to any message you receive, or contact our customer support team at 937-466-2755.

DATA RETENTION

We will retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

THIRD-PARTY SHARING

We are committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. We will not share, sell or disclose your information to third parties except:

• Trusted third-party service providers that assist us in operating our SMS services, such as ServiceTitan Technology Support. However, these third parties are required to maintain confidentiality and security when it comes to the receiving and storage of your information.
• Should it be required by law or in response to a legal request, such as subpoena, court order or government demand, we may disclose your information.
