I called 2 other companies and never got a human - they have never called me back to date. Stumbled across Shafer by accident when my nephew was having some work done by them. When I called, Brooke (in person) answered the phone and we scheduled a service call. Jeremy came out, walked with me, showed me everything he was doing, answered all questions, was polite, respectful and patient. We scheduled a meeting with Jacob to see exactly what I needed. Jacob was careful to lay out what was available, but not to push what I didn't need or couldn't afford. (Adding that items could be added later if desired, such as humidifier, etc.) Then it was just days before Rob, Tyler and Kenzie came and installed the new system. There was an email with a picture letting me know who to expect, a call letting me know when to expect them, a friendly greeting and introduction upon arrival. There was an old TV satellite close to their worksite and they took it down and away for me. My address marker stone at the end of my driveway had fallen over and I had no way of standing it up again - these 3 gentlemen did it for me. WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Cannot say enough good about this company and its employees.
Then I had my ducts cleaned. Cory B and Dillon came and did a most professional job, professional in every way, thorough but fast, friendly, careful.

Andrew was at the house until 9 pm fixing the outdoor fan motor that had gone bad. He didn't have to leave and get parts as he had on his truck which saved time and was able to get the AC working again within just a few hours! Highly recommend Shafer heating and cooling!!! Thanks again for getting the wife and kids AC in such a hurry.
When you have to deal with something as stressful as your HVAC system breaking down in the middle of summer, there are a lot of unknowns and worries when calling a company for repairs. Faxin Pan and his co-worker Logan eliminated my concerns from the very minute they introduced themselves. Both of them were extremely friendly and explained everything they were going to do before they started. When they started, they explained each step as they went along and answered any question I asked with a thorough explanation and made sure I understood. My wife and I were very happy we called Shafer Heating and Cooling. I recommend this company and especially these 2 technicians to anyone with HVAC issues and especially those who are worried about getting raked over the coals by a repair company. Outstanding service and professionalism!
