Juan was on time, polite, and answered our questions as best he could. He called before coming. He spent a reasonable amount of time testing the unit. Unfortunately, he was unfamiliar with the one thermostat and could neither confirm nor deny moisture in the system even though the thermostat has moisture alert showing on screen. He did check moisture level in the house and was at acceptible level 43%. He said the filters to the unit looked ok, no moisture seen on them. We continue to have issues with the geothermal unit running on auxiliary heat, costing us hundreds of dollars extra each month for the past 2 months. We have yet to see a decrease in usage on our electric bills. The only solution he had was to turn this feature off to force the unit run on the geothermal. We also still have moisture alert on the screen to the upstairs unit. The system overall has been disappointing and very costly every month in addition to the upfront cost of the unit and installation. MAJOR BUYERS REMORSE. But what can I do now, my yard is tore up and the unit is in. Stuck with an expense and ineffective unit.

Excellent service! Juan came out and did a diagnosis, let us know all of our options and went over everything in detail. Once we landed on a new system Nick came out and provided multiple options at different price points and was able to answer any questions we had. Rob, Dylan, and Troy did our install. They showed up on time and were very professional. They completed around the time they estimated and cleaned up once they were done. Would recommend.

These guys are the best! I called to schedule a tune-up for the following week and had no problem getting the day and time that was convenient for me. They called a couple hours later saying they had a cancelation and could get me in today. Shaun came out and was extremely professional and was able to troubleshoot my problem within minutes. He was very knowledgeable about the equipment and was able to explain it in terms I understood! I would highly recommend this young man and Shafer Htg/Ac to anyone! ***Just had my ductwork cleaned and Corey and Dillon were just as awesome as Shaun! Can't say enough good stuff about this company!

Very professional and knowledgeable team. Office staff was very friendly and helpful in scheduling services. Service technician,David, was very knowledgeable in diagnosing the malfunctioning control board. Their Sales technician, Drew, presented all the options we could do and provided us with an estimate for the equipment & installation .
We opted to install a new furnace with a two zoned system. We were very satisfied with the Installation that was provided by Cody & Cory. Cody was very Knowledgable about the equipment that was being installed and answered all our questions. Cory & Cody were both very respectful and had very good work ethics, We are very pleased with the Services that were provided from the whole team. And I say team ,because everyone worked together from the beginning to the finish of the project.
